The Design House is a unique location in the heart of Melbourne and is famously known for the Australian TV Series ‘Offspring’ where it featured as main character Nina’s home (Season 6). That’s no surprise though since the home ticks a lot of boxes – it is unique, earthy and spacious and perfect for filming, product and furniture photography and linen brands looking for textured walls and lofty ceilings.

The Architectural house and garden studio includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a rustic farmhouse kitchen with timber cabinetry, concrete benchtops and flooring, black tapware, two ovens and a gas cooktop. The industrial loft style windows and peaked ceiling in the main living room flood the home with light and allow lovely views out to the courtyard.

Location House in Inner City Melbourne available to hire for photoshoots, filming, productions, TV series and corporate events.

Pricing Terms

Listed price is for 8 hr fashion / lifestyle photoshoot 15 PAX.
Furniture photoshoots, TVC’s, filming, larger teams will incur additional fees.
8 hours between 8am – 6pm. Please inform team if you need to shoot at other times.
GST is added to all fees.
All clients must have Public Liability Insurance.
